The hotel's premises have a respectful past in music history with concerts from Imperiet, Depeche Mode & Duran Duran, and the feeling still lingers in the walls. Malmen has venues where only imagination sets the limits; everything from stand-up, TV broadcasts, concerts, and larger events are not uncommon, and flexibility is our strength.

Scandic Malmen is undergoing a major renovation, and ahead of the reopening of the restaurant, we are now looking for a skilled colleague.

Regardless of why the guest comes to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. You will act as a host together with the rest of the team at the hotel and create a world-class guest experience.

What does the role entail?

You are the first person the guest meets in our restaurant, so it is crucial that you have a warm demeanor and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You have a burning interest in food and beverages and enjoy order and tidiness, both in your own work and your colleagues'. All to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be to serve food and drinks and to be responsible for your own cash register. You will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

Who are you?

To fit in this role, we believe you have at least two years of experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is a merit.

However, the most important thing is your personal qualities and attitude. To fit in this role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.
